Designing and delivering residential extensions in London.
Deans Architects is a London based practice working across residential projects, including extensions, refurbishments, and the reconfiguration of existing homes.
We focus on clear, well considered design, delivered through a structured and coordinated process from the outset.
We don’t step away after planning approval.
We stay involved through construction to ensure the project is delivered properly.
Studio
Our RIBA Chartered studio works primarily on residential projects in London, alongside selected international and heritage projects, including work in Jamaica.
We focus on making spaces that feel well resolved and easy to live in, while keeping a close eye on how they will actually be built.
We remain involved from early design through to site, ensuring that the thinking behind the project is carried through properly and delivered as intended.
Approach
Starting a project can feel unclear at first, especially if you are unsure about planning, budgets, timescales or where to begin.
We have put together a simple step by step guide that explains how we typically work, from the initial briefing through to design, planning, technical information and construction. Every project is different, but this guide should give you a clear sense of the process and what to expect.
Whether you are considering an extension, refurbishment, new home, interior project or heritage led commission, we would be happy to help.
If you would like a copy of our project guide, please get in touch. We would be happy to send it over and discuss your project.
Team
Tyrone Deans ARB RIBA
Tyrone is a Chartered Architect and the founder of Deans Architects. His work is driven by a strong interest in how architecture can shape atmosphere, movement and everyday experience.
Before establishing the studio, he worked at leading practices including Stanton Williams, Karakusevic Carson Architectsand Turner Works, contributing to a range of residential, cultural and mixed-use projects across the UK.
At Deans Architects, Tyrone leads projects from early concept through to construction, ensuring that ideas remain clear, buildable and carefully resolved throughout the process. His approach combines conceptual thinking with a close attention to detail, materiality and the lived experience of space.
Olivia Ghioldi
Olivia works closely with Tyrone on the development and coordination of projects across the studio. Her role spans design development, client communication, project organisation and visual coordination.
She has a strong ability to distil complex ideas into clear drawings, diagrams and presentations, helping clients and consultants understand proposals in a direct and engaging way. Her calm and thoughtful approach has been particularly valuable on larger and more sensitive projects, where clarity, consistency and careful coordination are essential.
Olivia plays a key role in maintaining the rhythm and structure of projects, ensuring ideas move forward in a focused and well considered way.
Betul Kadri
Betul is an interior designer and visualisation specialist with a background in both spatial design and 3D rendering.
Her work focuses on the relationship between atmosphere, materiality and visual storytelling. Combining interior design knowledge with advanced visualisation skills, she creates imagery that not only communicates a project clearly, but helps shape and refine the design itself.
Betul approaches each project carefully considering composition, lighting, proportion and detail to ensure each space feels coherent, believable and emotionally engaging.
Clarisse Campos
Clarisse supports the studio through visualisation, product design and design development. Her work helps translate early concepts into images that feel atmospheric, clear and emotionally grounded.
With a strong eye for composition, texture and mood, she produces visuals that communicate both the practical and experiential qualities of a space. Her contribution helps clients engage more deeply with proposals, making it easier to test ideas, refine details and move projects forward with confidence.
Muhammad Qadir
Muhammad supports the technical development and visual production of projects across planning, detailed design and presentation stages.
Working across AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, V-Ray and Lumion, he combines technical coordination with a strong understanding of visual communication. His role involves developing accurate drawing packages, refining technical information and helping ensure projects remain coordinated and buildable as they progress.
His careful and consistent approach helps maintain clarity across the studio’s output, from early design studies through to construction information.
